WILLIAM J. VOGT, M.A.

Experienced consultant and analyst with many publications on technology policy and international political economy. A leading voice on the Portuguese-speaking countries and China's global rise.

 

Two-time graduate of Georgetown University, with a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service and an M.A. from the Communication, Culture, and Technology program.

 

Only American recipient of the 2026 Camões Bolsa de Verão administered by the Universidade do Minho in Braga, Portugal after studing in Georgetown's Portuguese for Spanish Speakers program. Also won a Hanban (Confucius Institute) scholarship to visit and study in China.

Taught courses at Georgetown University and the Catholic University of America after early career experience in global risk management and previous work facilitating client engagement with international business leaders.
